Fall in Utah this year has been truly spectacular. The mild weather, brightly colored leaves, and all the traditional fall activities. Nearly every day has been perfect for spending time outside. After a couple of cold and stormy days I was thrilled to spend a beautiful evening photographing a vibrant fall family session.
Kristi and Tyson are a complete joy to work with. Their kids are always so excited to show me how tall they’ve grown, how old they are, and ask how they can help me. I need confident and enthusiastic helpers like them for every session! Seeing their family grow and evolve is such an honor. I can’t believe it’s been an entire year since we spent time in Hobble Creek Canyon!
The hustle and bustle of constantly helping littles can be exhausting. I have felt that exhaustion first hand with my own littles who are, somehow, not so little anymore. The days where I never sat down, did anything on my personal to do list, and seemed to never end. Yet, it’s in those days that I also found immense joy. The giant hugs and sloppy kisses. The pride in their eyes when they learn something new.
The joy in this season shows in Kristi and Tyson’s eyes. Their kids can feel it too. Whether they’re listening to music or audiobooks, having family movie nights, or exploring a new park. This family is up for adventure and making memories together.
Kristi and Tyson, thank you so much for trusting me to capture your sweet family once again. For allowing me to step into your story and capture this sweet (and exhausting) time in your life. It is one of the highlights of my year. I’ll spend time with you guys laughing, waving at dogs, and enjoying great weather any day!
