The great thing about having cousins when you’re a kid is that you always have someone to play with at family gatherings. Growing up is great because you get to support each other in various activities. My favorite part so far, though, has been getting to know my cousins as adults! It’s so fun to catch up and see where life has taken you, and you get the added bonus of getting to know spouses!
We love eating good food and playing board games so it was a special treat being able to have Kristi and Tyson over and join us one evening. She asked if I might be interested in capturing some photos once their little man arrived and how could I say no?! I was thrilled to not only get to spend more time with them but to meet their sweet babe.
The little moments with a new baby are so precious and fleeting. I was so excited to be able to freeze some of those moments for them to cherish forever. The day finally came and I was thrilled. I was even more excited when Kristi mentioned the night before our session that she had arranged for a special visitor for part of their session and that Santa would be stopping by!! The day turned out beautifully and we even had the sun pop through the clouds. Little boy was perfect and made for the cutest little model. Those eyes get me every time!
Kristi and Tyson, thank you so much for trusting me with such special memories. I’ve loved getting to spend time with you guys! Your little boy is perfect and you are great parents. Hopefully we can have another game night soon!
