A Surprise Proposal in the Park

Today is the day I’ve been waiting for! I can finally let you in on one of the biggest secrets I’ve had to keep; a surprise proposal in the park!

It all started back years ago when we first met (almost 12 years ago?!) I was dating his brother and would always tell him that when he grew up he’d have to find a really amazing girl to marry because I never had sisters. Over the years I have taken every opportunity to make sure he had a comprehensive list of things he should be looking for in a potential future sister for me. I mean, future wife for him.

Fast forward to now and he’s found a gorgeous girl who checks off all the boxes and then some. On both our lists! When he finally proposed he wanted to make sure it was the perfect memorable surprise.

He asked me if I would be willing to be in on the secret and I jumped at the chance! Over the course of a few days we brainstormed different locations and scenarios. We finally decided on staging a photo shoot and getting some pictures of them as a couple. We met at the gorgeous Loch Lommond park in Saratoga Springs just as the sun was starting to drop. It was pure magic the whole time we were there! And when he finally dropped down on one knee and proposed it was absolutely perfect.

You guys, you are amazing. I’m so happy that I’ve been able to have a front row seat since the beginning of your perfect love story. I am humbled and honored to have been able to share in this special moment with you. I can’t wait for all the fun times to come!
