I’m so excited to share this family maternity session with you today! I’ve been looking forward to this session ever since this sweet mama emailed me. There’s something about getting to see families grow and change. Can you believe this big guy used to be this tiny baby? Even though this session was on a H-O-T day and it was past the little one’s bedtime, they were all troopers and I LOVE how they turned out!
Before I started shooting Kristi and Tyson, we snuck in their little guy for some pictures of the entire family. (Shout out to two of the best aunts ever for making it happen!) He is the cutest little guy and I completely melted the moment he took my hand in his to go for a walk. Even though he wasn’t thrilled to be out in the hot sun past bedtime taking pictures (what toddler is?!) we kept him happy and smiling bringing out bubbles, his favorite blue ball, and singing our hearts out!
My favorite moments with families are when they’re playing. Some of my favorite shots are watching Tyson chasing and Kristi snuggling up with their little boy. I love getting a glimpse into their relationship as a family. It brings me so much joy capturing the small everyday moments that often get overlooked in the business of day to day life. It’s clear these two are amazing parents!
The rest of the session was spent with Kristi and Tyson and I loved every minute of it! They are two of the kindest people and so much fun to be around. I love being with couples and families who are willing to laugh and have fun with me. Kristi, you’re beautiful! I love spending time with you and your boys. I’m so excited for your newest family member to get here!
