If you’ve been around here for a few years, you’ll remember when I photographed Rachel and Justin’s engagement session. They are such a fun couple and are some of my favorite images I’ve ever captured. I was thrilled when Rachel reached out to let me know that they were both graduating from BYU. We met up and the weather was absolutely gorgeous. It was the perfect day to capture their BYU senior portraits!
In the past few years BYU has made some major changes to its campus. I knew they had been doing a lot of construction, but I had no idea how much had been done. The pathways are beautiful, and so many buildings have been updated. It was the perfect backdrop to showcase their accomplishment!
It was a joy to spend time with them on campus and think back to when me and my husband were newlyweds. I had already graduated from college, and he was finishing his undergraduate degree at BYU. After all the late nights studying, it was exciting to finally make it to graduation! It feels like it wasn’t all that long ago that we were ordering his cap and gown, but my husband was quick to humble me and remind me that it has been over a decade. Ouch!
Rachel and Justin, thank you so much for trusting me to capture such an exciting time in your life. For showing me around a campus I don’t recognize anymore, and laughing at my terrible jokes. The editing and neurology worlds are about to receive some serious talent! I hope you enjoy scrolling through some of my many favorites from your session!
