If you’ve been around here for a few months you’ll remember the gorgeous maternity session with Ellen and Craig in Murray Park. Their darling baby girl came, arriving with plenty of fanfare and excitement. I am fortunate enough to have been invited into their home for their dreamy lifestyle newborn session.
Their sweet dogs and older daughter eagerly welcome me in and help me with all of my gear. With all the things I sometimes need to bring with me to a lifestyle newborn session it can feel like I’m moving in. I promise, I won’t!
Baby girl is an absolute dream. It is clear each member of the family has a unique bond with her. There is an incredible amount of love in their home. Watching a mom snuggling with her baby always gets me. I remember all too well the feeling of wrapping myself up with my own newborns in the middle of the night. The nights were long, but the season they needed me was short. Seeing the love in Craig’s eyes as he held his girls is something I know they’ll remember even when they’re grown. It’ll be the same look he gives them as he walks them down the aisle. And a million times in between. Watching the two sisters together is a joy. I know it will be so fun for them to be able to do grow up together.
Ellen and Craig, thank you for welcoming me into your home. Your girls are so lucky to have you both. You have a beautiful family and seeing you all together reminds me why I picked up my camera all those years ago. Here’s to all your adventures as a family of 4 (plus a few sweet puppies)!
