Spring is here and I am so excited! All these spring sessions are exactly what I needed after a long winter. If you’ve been around here for awhile you’ll remember Lauren’s high school senior session at Daybreak. I can’t believe it was four years ago and she’s getting ready to graduate college! When I received a message about photographing her portraits I was thrilled! I knew instantly that we would have a blast, but somehow I underestimated how amazing it would be. I am so glad that we were able to celebrate her graduation from UVU with a joyful spring senior session in downtown Provo!
High school and college senior sessions are some of my favorite to photograph. New chapters and seasons bringing excitement, joy, and adventure. Lauren is all these qualities personified. She wanted her session to showcase both natural and urban locations, and I think we did just that! She is a knitter, painter, reader, and lover of psychology. It was so fun hearing her talk about all of the science behind her psychology finals. Exams with enough memorization to make me want to turn the other way, she is excitedly looking forward to. It is such a joy to see that she has found a field that she loves and is excited to make a difference in! She truly lights up talking about the things she loves and I’m thrilled that I got to capture some of that light on my camera!
